AABPS Mentoring Program Terms and Conditions

Review these Terms and Conditions carefully. By submitting your application to the AABPS Mentoring Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

Purpose of the AABPS Mentoring Program

The AABPS Mentoring Program serves as a platform for members of the American Association of Bangladeshi Pharmaceutical Scientists (AABPS) to establish professional relationships between scientists and professionals based on their career experiences, networks, and goals.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Responsibility

  1. AABPS does not make any representations, warranties, endorsements, or guarantees regarding the expertise of participants in the Mentoring Program.
  2. AABPS is not responsible for the opinions, advice, or information exchanged among mentors, mentees, or other participants during the program.
  3. Information shared through the AABPS Mentoring Program is not verified by AABPS, and participants rely on such information at their own risk. Caution and discretion are advised.
  4. AABPS only verifies the membership status of applicants and does not conduct further screening or vetting for the Mentoring Program.
  5. Participation in the program does not guarantee a successful mentorship match or opportunity.

 

Mentor Responsibilities

As an applicant for mentor, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of the information provided in your application.
  • Maintaining professionalism and respect throughout your participation in the program.
  • Dedicating sufficient time and effort to foster a meaningful mentorship experience.

 

Terms of Engagement

  1. Participants must commit to a minimum of one year in the program. Both mentors and mentees must adhere to AABPS’s ethical guidelines and standards.
  2. Either party may terminate the mentorship relationship with prior notice, ensuring a valid reason is communicated to the AABPS Mentoring Program administration.

 

Indemnity and Liability

As far as the law allows, AABPS, its Executive Members, Sub-Committee members, staff, members, and representatives are not responsible for any harm or damages—direct, indirect, or otherwise—caused by your participation in the AABPS Mentoring Program. This includes anything related to the mentorship or advice shared during the program.

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

AABPS reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
