2011 AABPS 5th Annual Meeting - Washington, DC
The meeting was a great success with excellent presentation by the invited speaker, Dr. Delwar Hussain and brief research presentations by four graduate students. Members of the AABPS Executive committee provided an update on various activities and budget, and facilitated discussion on future organizational activities.

Activities
The annual meeting of AABPS will usually be held in conjunction with the AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENTISTS (AAPS) Annual Meeting. AABPS actively supports the establishment of local and regional chapters. These chapters will provide members with the opportunity to interact with other pharmaceutical scientists and exchange ideas on a regular basis and will be responsible for local programming. In this regard, North America has been tentatively divided into the following groups -
1. East Coast
2. Mid-Atlantic to South
3. Midwest
4 West Coast
5. Canada
In addition, contact persons for student chapters, academic, industry and government agencies in North America as well as in Bangladesh will be expanded in the near future. Anyone with a genuine interest and commitment to support the above activities are encouraged to contact members of the Executive Committee.
